Sijentalwald - Rotkreuz
Sijentalwald, Rotkreuz — a ski tour, January 2021. Flat forest at around 440 m in the municipality of Risch, Zug, which only counts as a ski tour in a winter with snow this low.
Sijentalwald, ~440 m / forest tracks east of Rotkreuz
Ungraded — flat lowland forest, no summit
The site already has a short entry on Sijentalwald from a later visit, describing it as a forest area near Rotkreuz in the municipality of Risch. In January 2021 there was enough snow in the Swiss lowlands to put skis on it — the first half of that month left unusually deep snow cover in the lowlands and low ranges north of the Alps.
So: skins on at about 440 m, forest tracks, no summit and nothing to grade. It is a ski tour only in the technical sense of the word. Worth doing anyway, because the chance does not come often at this altitude.

Approach
From Rotkreuz station, about 1.3 km east into the Sijentalwald; the fire pit in the forest is the obvious landmark.
