The routes are all overhanging, which is the point — the day is mostly about how long the forearms last. No route names or grades went into the notebook this time, so I will not pretend to remember them; the earlier days at the same spot were logged the same way.

Worth saying that the well-documented drytooling venue in the Basler Jura is the Wasserfalle sector at Eptingen, roughly D7 upward on steep limestone with a short walk in. That is not where this day was, and I am not going to attach its grades to an unnamed crag in the woods.

Short walk in from the road through the forest. Nothing to it beyond wet leaves and, in January, an early finish in the dark.
