It is a little-visited beginner’s tour, which is much of its appeal — the north slopes often hold good powder well after a snowfall, and the summit looks across to the Brisen, the Buochserhorn and down the Engelbergertal.

Approach
The Rugisbalm cable car from Mettlen puts you at 1400 m; from the top station it is 483 m of ascent, around two hours.
