A day of skiing at Sörenberg in the Entlebuch, canton Lucerne. Two linked sectors, Rothorn and Dorf, between 1,110 and 2,298 m, with the Brienzer Rothorn above.

Sörenberg sits at the head of the Entlebuch valley in canton Lucerne, under the Brienzer Rothorn — at 2,350 m the highest point in the canton. The ski area is split into two sectors, Rothorn and Dorf, linked directly by a piste, and runs from 1,110 m up to 2,298 m.

There are 42 km of pistes served by 14 lifts, most of it easy ground: 24 km blue, 10 km red, 8 km black. Snowmaking covers a good share of the lower runs, and there is a freestyle line at Rossweid. April is late in the season here, so the upper Rothorn sector is where the snow keeps best.
