Speroni di Ponte Brolla, Quarzader

6a / 11 pitches, 250 m ↗ / Gear: 2 x 50 m, 12 draws

Probably one of the most beautiful routes in Ticino over inclined slabs and a steeper pillar ascent in the beautiful Maggia Valley gneiss.

The route was bolted by Häns Müller, author of the neighbouring Alhambra. The grade is sandbagged which adds to the adventure. The 10th pitch is spectacular - it goes through a long section of quartz crystals. One of the most beautiful pitches I have ever climbed.
