Two multi-pitch routes at Hintisberg, one around 5c and one around 6b. I don’t remember which ones — no topo photo, no notes, just a good day on limestone with the Eiger across the valley.

Hintisberg, Lütschental / south-east facing

Crag range 5c–7c / up to 220 m / limestone

Hintisberg, Lütschental Hintisberg, Lütschental Hintisberg, Lütschental

The wall sits above Alp Hintisberg on the north side of the Lütschental, looking straight across at the Eiger north face. Limestone with strong horizontal banding — ledges where you want them, the odd roof where you don’t. Around 80 multi-pitch routes from 5c to 7c, up to 220 m, plus a small garden of 16 single pitches. South-east facing, so it gets sun early.

We took two of the easier lines and neither of us wrote down the names, so all I can say is 5c and 6b. The rock was clean, the bolting Plaisir-style, and the view did most of the work.
