Tällistock - Furka Pass round hike

A short day out of the Furka Pass area, up the Tällistock and back down as a loop. Nothing more to it than good weather and marked paths.

The Tällilücke does most of the work of the day. The path out of the pass is easy at first, then tips up steadily to the notch before the short pull onto the Tällistock and its view over the Rhone Glacier and out across the Obergoms. Coming off the top the ground stays friendly, dropping down the Tälligrat and through Liessland to close the loop back at the pass.

Nothing technical here, just a tidy half-day on marked paths with a lot of scenery for the effort.

Parking

Parking at the Furka Pass (2429 m). Reachable by car on the pass road, or by PostAuto from Oberwald.

Approach

From the pass, follow marked trail toward the Tällilücke, then up to the Tällistock. Descend the Tälligrat via Gale and Liessland back to the start as a round trip.
