A long, demanding loop through the Studené valleys of the High Tatras:

• Route: Hrebienok → Zamkovského chata (1475 m) → Malá Studená dolina → Téryho chata (2015 m) → Priečne sedlo (2352 m) → Zbojnícka chata (1960 m) → Veľká Studená dolina → Hrebienok → Starý Smokovec.
• Téryho chata sits among the Five Spiš Tarns at about 2000 m.
• Priečne sedlo is the crux: the chained section here is the most technically difficult stretch of marked trail in the whole High Tatras.

Guidebook time is around 9½ hours, but we got round in 7 — with enough left over for a delicious alcohol-free beer at Zamkovského chata.
