Blattiswald - After-Work Bouldering
Left work and drove out to Blattiswald for an evening on the boulders. A short training session in the forest, nothing more, just pulling on granite before the light went.
Blattiswald, 522 m / South-facing granite
Gear: pads, brush
The blocks here sit on the south-facing slope above the Lauerzersee, scattered granite left behind by the old glacier. The rock is excellent, each boulder a bit different, and there is enough range that an after-work session never feels wasted. I worked a handful of problems, nothing at my limit, just moving well and enjoying the quiet.
By the time the shadows filled the forest I packed the pad and headed back. A good way to end a working day.
