Hochschijen 2634 m, Südgrat

IV+ (4c) / ~350 m / ~11 pitches / Granite / Göschenertal

A long, varied granite ridge on the Hochschijen above the Göschenertal: generously structured slabs low down, an easier classic middle section, and a final stretch of gripping cracks and granite features to the summit. The climbing is mostly grade III with steps to IV+ (4c), and a short rappel splits the ridge — roughly 350 m of climbing over about eleven pitches.
