Rotsandnollen 2700 m

The Rotsandnollen is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located between Melchsee-Frutt and Engelberg in Central Switzerland.

Approach

  1. From the top station of the Melchsee-Frutt cable car (1927 m) on the winter hiking trail to the Müllerenhütte at Melchsee.
  2. Follow the Bonistock-Hohmad-Barglen rock ridge north-eastwards to the steep slope (33° at 100 m), which leads up to the Tannenrotisand pass (2536 m).
  3. Over the broad ridge north-eastwards to the summit.
