Quarzrader - Speroni di Ponte Brolla
Speroni di Ponte Brolla, Quarzader
6a / 11 pitches, 250 m ↗ / Gear: 2 x 50 m, 12 draws
Probably one of the most beautiful routes in Ticino over inclined slabs and a steeper pillar ascent in the beautiful Maggia Valley gneiss.

The route was bolted by Häns Müller, author of the neighbouring Alhambra. The grade is sandbagged which adds to the adventure. The 10th pitch is spectacular - it goes through a long section of quarz cristals. One of the most beutiful pitches I have ever climbed.
Logistics
- Parking lot
- At the end of the route, ascend a little further on foot, then turn right to the descent couloir, which leads you back to the road.
- Climbing the route in the summer might be impossible due to the heat.
