Hummus
My quick and easy hummus recipe made from simple ingredients.
Hummus comes out differently every time. Everyone also has their own version of the recipe. The proportions can be modified as you wish. You can also add chopped parsley or other herbs, whatever you like.
Ingredients
- A tin/jar of cooked chickpeas.
- Some tahini paste (as much as you like, I use about 1 tablespoon)
- A clove of garlic (more is possible)
- A little olive oil (I give about 3 tablespoons, you can add more or less)
- A little lemon juice.
- Salt
- Pepper
Method of preparation
- Drain the chickpeas. You may want to save some of the marinade for later.
- Put everything in the pot and blend until it has the consistency of spreadable paste.
- If too dry, add a little water or marinade from the drained chickpeas
