Lagginhorn 4010 m

Hohsaas – Lagginhorn (WSW Ridge) - WS, II / 4-5 h / 1280 m ↗

In snow-free and dry conditions, the WSW ridge offers surprisingly little more than a challenging hike up a 4000 m peak (T5-, easy orientation, rarely exposed, almost all path tracks, little need for hands). In optimal conditions, no crampons or ice axe are necessary; helmet generally won’t hurt in the scree.
