I climbed in the canyon back in 2019 and did a pretty tough line on the right side (WI5-), so I was very excited when we decided to revisit the place. Sadly, climate change is taking its toll on the ice — the conditions weren’t great.

We abseiled down almost to the riverbed, searching for good ice. Low expectations were key to happiness. We managed to get in some good laps on varied, icy terrain. Another great day outdoors.
